Workshop Description:
This workshop aims to explore research directions and needs for the QuakeCoRE 2 rebid. The aim of this theme is to collaboratively understand, model and improve the critical cultural and social factors determining societal resilience to earthquakes and other hazards. In the workshop we will discuss a draft framework of potential research (see below), and collate ideas from workshop participants for future research in this theme.
Workshop Details:
A pre-workshop draft white paper is due for release in mid-April. The workshop will be open to all interested parties. Please send an expression of interest to attend this workshop to Emily Campbell ([email protected]) by Noon 18 April .
The draft white paper will also be discussed on the 17 April Flagship 5 Monthly Zoom Meeting. A second zoom presentation will be arranged after the workshop to share the results and update those who can-™t attend.
QuakeCoRE Research Planning Workshop Series
Over the next couple of months, QuakeCoRE will be hosting a series of workshops to develop research topics that will form an important component of our rebid application to TEC. These workshops are a key opportunity for you to input and participate in the development of our future research programme plans.
