The details of the new online programme have now been confirmed, and updates will be available here, the format will be as follows:
- Monday 6th December and Tuesday 7th December: Limited Aligned Workshops
- Wednesday 8th December (Afternoon Only): Keynote Presentation & Plenary Sessions
- Thursday 9th December (Morning): Community Engagement Time: Poster Session & Discussion Groups
- Thursday 9th December (Afternoon): Plenary Sessions

Registration
What should I do about my registration?
If you were registered to attend the December Annual Meeting, your registration has automatically been updated for the online event. In early December, you will receive an email from the online conference organisers with details on how to log into the virtual platform. If you are planning on attending some or all of the virtual event you do not need to take any further action.
I am no longer able to attend some / all of the Annual Meeting given the new dates; what should I do?
If you are no longer able to attend, please email the conference organiser (quakecore2021@confer.co.nz).
I want to cancel my registration, what should I do?
If you are no longer able to attend, please email the conference organiser (quakecore2021@confer.co.nz).
I wanted wanted to attend the Annual Meeting, but wasn-™t able to attend in-person, am I now able to register?
Yes, please register here.
Can I give my registration to someone else?
No, please do not transfer your registration. If you know of someone else that would like to attend the Annual Meeting, please ask them to register here.
Can I attend a workshop?
If you were already registered to attend a workshop, your place will be transferred to the online session.
If you would like to attend the National Seismic Hazard Model workshop, please email the conference organiser (quakecore2021@confer.co.nz) to be added to the registration list.
Posters
Can I submit a poster?
No, the poster abstract portal is closed and will not reopen. All posters that were confirmed for the in-person meetings will automatically be included in the online meeting.
How do I get my poster into the online platform?
All poster presenters will have received an email with details on how to upload their poster and video into the online portal. If you have questions please email quakecore2021@confer.co.nz.
What size should my poster be?
Posters can be either orientation, and A4 size and should be a standard resolution for display on a screen.
Can I change my poster title?
No, the posters have been finalised and there will not be an opportunity to edit or update poster titles or abstracts.
Travel
I have some non-refundable costs associated with cancelling my travel arrangements, will you still cover my cancellation fees?
