Aotearoa New Zealand’s Rumbling Reality: Uncovering our Earthquake Risks & Responses
July 26, 2023Research Project Stories – Anthony Hoete
August 1, 2023Poster Showcase Sessions
This year are offering all poster authors the opportunity to present their poster to the Annual Meeting Participants in a series of mini-sessions immediately prior to our poster sessions. This is an opportunity for one presenter from each poster team to tell the audience about their research and where to find them and their poster to learn more. The challenge is to do this in just 60 seconds!
What
Each presenter will have exactly one-minute on stage to summarise their research (using only the poster presentation template) and to let everyone know where to find them and their poster. All slides will automatically advance to enforce the time limit.
The poster showcase sessions are optional and will be in addition to the regular poster sessions.
How
To submit a request for a poster promotion slot you must:
- Download the slide template from the website here and complete the required information; you must follow the instructions in the template in order to be eligible for a poster showcase slot
- Prepare your slides (using the template above), then the presenter from your poster team must click this link to register and upload your slides no later than Friday, 16 August
- Receive an email confirmation from the Support Team by Friday, 23 August confirming whether or not you have been given a poster showcase slot
Who
Poster showcase slots are open to anyone with a poster that has been accepted for the 2024 Annual Meeting. If submissions exceed the number of presentation slots available in the programme (due to time constraints), priority will be given to students and early career researchers.
We look forward to hearing more about the research that is taking place across the Te Hiranga Rū QuakeCoRE Research Programme.
